http://nowdailynews.blogspot.com - Actor Vidya Balan's hit number, Ooh La La from her upcoming film, The Dirty Picture, is creating a buzz on the global circuit. The song was played in the background for a ramp show by lingerie giant, Victoria's Secret, and was aired on a fashion channel on TV.Buzz is that the brand is even considering Balan as their Indian brand ambassador.
The sensual song has been composed by Bappi Lahiri. "Ooh La La has already become a craze. It will rock the nation," the proud composer told Dibyojyoti Baksi.
Bappi Lahiri is also mesmerised by Vidya's look in the song. "Before the song, I don't think any of her fans could have ever imagined her looking as sexy and glamourous as this," he says, adding: "The way the film has been picturised is awesome."
Vidya in one of her interviews said: “I think it was extremely challenging and it’s probably my toughest role to date, because on one hand, is this woman who is absolutely brazen about her sexuality, she is volatile, and on the other, she is child like. So to be able to maintain that balance and to translate that on screen is the tough part. But I have enjoyed playing Silk because it has been very liberating for me in more ways than one."
