CHANDIGARH: Haryana Government has decided to impart summer coaching in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics to the students in 21 designated science schools including one each in Gurgaon, Faridabad and Panchkula from June 1 to 30.
Vijayender Kumar, Director School Education said that the coaching would be imparted by the hired professional coaching agencies. Besides Gurgaon, Faridabad and Panchkula, other districts where schools shall be providing coaching include, Government Senior Secondary School at Naraingarh, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jhajjar, Jind, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Narnaul, Taoru, Samalkha, Palwal, Bawal, Yamuna Nagar, Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Bhiwani, , Rohtak, Gohana and Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sirsa.
He said that the coaching would be of high calibre with digital or print content including project based learning. The agency would have to provide faculty and learning material. A pre-coaching learning level evaluation and post coaching learning level evaluation would be conducted by the Directorate of Secondary Education in collaboration with the professional coaching agency.
Referring to the process of hiring the agency for coaching, Vijayender Kumar said that the agencies working for the last three years and have coaching experience in at least five state and minimum 50 per cent placement achievements in IITs/AIIMS/AFMC/AIEEE/IIS could submit their project proposals to the Directorate of Secondary Education by May 15, 2011.
